Very cool site!
If you would like a photo of the back of the instrument cluster let me know. Mine is still out of the car and it would be no problem.

Here you go Rhonda,
Side note, I installed a CJ tach in my cluster. If I hadn't there would be a clock delete cover plate in the center.
Cheers
Bill

Thank you Nfrntau,thats great.
One more thing, my husband can`t detect a gear in the transmission for the speedometer cable. I guess we`ll have to figure out what exactly the tranny is before we can order one. So where would the code numbers for the tranny be? I`ve been told it is possibly a toploader. Any help is appreciated, Thanks Rhonda

Look for a tag attached to the gear housing right next to the bellhousing on the passenger side of the car. If it's there it will have information indicating type, service ID code and date of manufacture.

Great site from C160223, but the Instrument Cluster diagram (E3) shows an oil temp guage. Don't most non tach clusters come with an oil pressure gauge?

I came across this thread as I am trying to determine the color of the wires going to the oil pressure gauge. I know that one is black with a white stripe, but what about the other one?

thanks
David
