In keeping with the spirit of this website's participation--with my book on the GT/CS (& '68 HCS) -- I am about to interview a few folks that have been involved with the production and marketing of the GT/CS.
I would like any input you may have, with questions (or comments) that I could ask these people.
I will be talking to the following people:
- The Shelby American Automobile Club (Re: recognition and promotion within SAAC, judging, registry, etc.)
- A California Ford Dealer, that was selling the GT/CS in Los Angeles, back in 1968.
- A worker at A.O. Smith, that worked on some of the fiberglass (plastic) pieces, such as the side scoops.
- A worker that help build the Green Hornet.
- A few San Jose (Milpitas) Ford plant workers, there in 1967-68.
- A key person that was there when they tried to put the rear spoiler decklid and end caps on the '68 Trans Am Mustang coupes (claiming the stock use on the GT/CS for the T-A rules folks).
- A Ford contact with the 2007 and 2008 GT/CS.
Anything you can think of would be appreciated,
thank you!
