The car is listed as incoming. I do not show a Marti Report on file for this car but it is in the 2011 Book.
VIN: 8R01J142782

Mike,
Have you contacted Volo regarding a Marti Report?

Early production, Feb or March, since the Marchal grille brackets can be seen behind the Lucas lamps.
All California Specials have the brackets, regardless of the build date. They hold the grille together.

Is an early car because of the painted quarter reflectors.

I contacted them but they do not have a Marti at this time. They did say they are working on getting all paper work including Marti.

Shouldn’t this car have the other type of rear side markers? I am under the impression this early of a build had the other rear reflectors.

Nice Car, but it has been modified.
I like the mostly tasteful modifications and upgrades.
Per the Marti Report, this is not a factory GT. Combination of hang-on and aftermarket air conditioning. Exterior color change, and is not a deluxe interior Mustang.

Red is mt least favorite color but love Royal Maroon. Cost way too much to take it back to the original color. IMO way overpriced for that reason.

@CALIF GIRL You bring up a good question. I have looked at some of the records I have with cars built around both of these cars. I am finding images that support Feb 19th build date have both bolted on reflectors and recessed.

I plan to sell mine this spring. It has the upper and lower consoles, Factory air (Sanden compressor) and correct Marchal lights. Undercarriage is cleaner with the red oxide. Think I can get $68k???
