Has anyone seen this one?

From Facebook. Patty Laws

Hi! I was wondering if anyone could give me any insight on how to go about finding my Grandfather’s California Special? It was sold in Elkhart, Indiana to someone in California, I have the VIN number and other information about the vehicle. I would love to find its current owner and buy back my Grandfather’s beloved Mustang. Any guidance would we appreciated!

VIN 8R01J156233. Sold with 39,709 miles around June 2022.

The last reported owner was her grandfather. The car was listed for sale on 7/30/2022 I have picture of AD. I have talked to her and she has called the broker that sold car. The only information they will give her is it went to California.

A smart broker would have offered to give her contact info to the person that purchased the car. That way the current owner could have contacted her directly if they so desired. Since most brokers just want to make a buck, offering the broker a finder's fee might get the job done. I am trying to locate a 1973 Mustang convertible I sold years ago to a guy in California that went through a broker/dealer, but the dealer is no longer in business. The buyer's info doesn't show up on a google search. I feel your pain.
