If this car is so original and has all it's factory metal why does it have the Mustang and the corral in the grill? Maybe front end damage?

It was probably added on. As long as it`s the original grill there should be no worries. Some people just can`t stand an empty grill with no Pony to show it`s a Mustang. Our cars are special because they`re supposed to have a blacked out "ponyless" grill.
