Working on the 427 powered Cougar GTE. Old engine is out and the VIN numbers matching side oiler 427 is back from the machine shop and ready to assemble. Need to go back a couple pages if you want the whole story of this rare car. It was very interesting. These cars with numbers match...

    Shop cars

Crofton, a nice young man, drove this car to high school and beyond for a few years. It got a couple bangs and scrapes in that time, but he took real good care of it!! Because his Mom and I told him to do it!!! Rob

    Another Bad Idea?

OUCH! Yes, at around 500 hp a stock 8.2 deck height 289 or 302 block is at the ragged edge. My GNS build used a band new 302 "Mexican" block and main caps that are a bit beefier. I know mine was at that edge also. The new owner wants to spin up the blower more, or add nitromethane in the...

1968 Not Gonna Sell It - Mustang Monthly 360

The pictures are just ok, but the rear quarters seem not to show rust. Hopefully the carpet was so far gone it did not hold much moisture. Looks kinda fixable to me, but a closer inspection would be required,. Rob

    . Triple "B's" Garage

Been very busy lately. I got to bring the below car back to life. It needed the intake reset, fuel system restored and the owner wanted his factory tach and back up lights to work. The engine is not original to the car and is an ex race motor with a nasty solid lifter cam. 4 speed car and...

Bret, Happy B-Day!!! I did a burn out yesterday in your honor. In a 1969 Shelby GT-500 4 speed car. Yup, a customer car. Very old hard tires and it was a small one!! Almost impossible not to turn the old tires on this car Rob

For Sale 1968 GT/CS Rare 6 cyl in GA craigslist

Many people will convert a 4 lug car to 5 lugs to get bigger brakes and a better selection of aftermarket wheels. I bet that is what happened to this car. A very nice upgrade IMO!! Rob

    Is this Mustang Overpriced?

Ebay fees are expensive and he had a larger audience. But I agree he is definitely attempting to get top dollar. Without a thorough inspection it will more than likely sit around on the sale sites. Some very definitive underneath pics would certainly help him sell it. Rob

    Is this Mustang Overpriced?

Not sure where the overpriced or rustang comes from. Based on the pictures in this ad. To determine its value it must be seen in person. There is minor surface rust in the engine area. Needs a thorough detail in the engine compartment. Very cheap for a buyer to do. The only picture to...
