Hey all, Quick question, maybe someone can verify. I came across a six cylinder cali the other day not listed (8R01T161847) that had a four speed in it. Now I know some, not many, six cylinder cars came with four speeds (standard form non CS, HCS), although very uncommon....but, how many were...

missing a few things like stripping (easy) and the "california" emblem on the driver 1/4 panel but other then that it looks very clean. Were the holes for said emblem filled or are they still there and cant see them on the pic? Also do you have a Marti to confirm the car?

I thought that hinges were body color but, the bolts that hold them were never painted, as they should be natural.. I remember seeing it in the Mac judges rules. Help? My point is wouldn't that make them painted off the car rather then on?

They make the panels repro now, just make sure you get the right one (fastbacks are different than coupes/verts) but I had one of the repro panels on my 67 GTA and it fit very well Cheers oops just re-read that haha never mind

No not at all. The 67-68 bumpers were/ are the same and unless you pull it off during judging to see the stamping:cheesy:, no one will know (and depending on the build date, if it's an early car it wouldnt matter anyway since they carried over 67 parts to 68's) just make sure the bumper guards...

I second this! Between Arlie, Neil, Tim, Bob, and Mike etc.. I have found out things I never knew with cals/hcs, AND got/bought parts i otherwise would be screwed without (Neil and his awesome set of Lucas lenses that otherwise I would had to have bought a new set!) Thanks fellas you rock!!!:grin:

I thought that stripe colors for GT cars, Cals, HCS, Shelby's, etc, were to be the color of the interior color? ie; black car, with red interior gets a red stripe, so on s forth, and that rag tops, got stripe colors based on the rag top color? I heard this years ago but was never sure. I know...
