i have a 1968 gtcs for sale it was rolled at 10mph

No one said it was a replica. We are simply saying that as an issue with some, not all early cars, Marti reports do not list them as being california specials, so certain precautionary measures need to ensue in order to preserve the cars lineage. It is very easy to duplicate a cal special in a...

Shock Tower shock mount correct color?

Ok, I have seen several examples of properly restored mustangs, but recently just saw a 68 J-code GT coupe that was a MCA gold trailered winner, and this particular cars mounts were painted natural. I have seen them also come low gloss or satin black. My 67's are done in natural but am always...

I think it's the same car that was posted here not too long ago. Bambam went under the name as ocbambam in that post and shortened his name from Danny to Dan. (Detective work fellas hang on!) Have you had any bites on it Dan? Perhaps you're a little off with pricing lol

i have a 1968 gtcs for sale it was rolled at 10mph

Ya those pictures show off in better detail the extent of the damage which is not really "that bad". The A pillar is pushed in a bit but the roof appears to still be straight which has me scratching my head as to "how this car was rolled" whereas it looks to be more "laid on its side" The front...

    1968 exhaust system thoughts

My 67 GTA has a system (well at least part of) from NPD and it is actually a very close to original system. Only problem I had was the "H" pipe was welded too close together for it to mate up with the manifolds correctly, so I had to have a muffler shop cut them and splice in an extension piece...

Agreed. The cloud is a lifesaver in terms of media file backup. I don't ever take pics from a digital camera anymore, everything is off my 1080p smart phone and is instantly saved to my cloud. I never have to wonder or hope that it's saved anymore.

1968 How cool is cover and story in MM ?

I just picked it up! It's a good read for sure. The editorial in MM years ago that was just dedicated to HCS featuring Bob teets cj hcs was good as well but the diversity of this one featuring ALL the special Mustangs certainly helps those unfamiliar with them come into fruition. That CJ cali is...

Several problems with the car right off the bat. GT/CS stripes and insignia (lacking the HCS badge) luckily there is no cal special badges on the rear 1/4. Wheel well trim, shelby steering wheel, motor has issues (although did a great job for a driver) Shelby wheels, taillights are t-bird ...

1968 Grill restoration fog light bracket rivets

Ah, there is the age old wonder. Of course not EVERY one of us are this intuitive or involved with detail, and/or facts. However, there are those (myself deeply included) that literally get a "hard on" knowing that their car(s) look today as it left the showroom 44+ years ago. It is so...
