All, This is the first part I have made. The original is in the center of the picture courtesy of Steve Wick. The ones I made are on the left and right. I have enough of these for 12 sets of four each for a GT/CS/HCS. These are the washers that reinforce the grill to allow for the Lucas...

    1968 GT/CS registry window sticker

Hate to say it, but be careful. Paul copywrited all of his stuff. Even old Ford drawings and pictures. I doubt he would go after anyone, but just so you know. And the ability to hire a lawyer and such, for such a small decal would be absurd. Try to make it a bit different if you can. Rob

    For Sale 1968 GT/CS Highland Green 289/302

Do not thinks so. The low fuel level "trigger" is something more than that. Also, check the harness that goes to your current sending unit.. It has a two wire connection and is unique to a convenience group car. Rob

Sheryl, My guess is West Coast Classic Cougar will rebuild one for you if you send it to them. Give them a call. I may be able to get my hands on my old one. It went with the car when I sold the car. I replaced it with a racing fuel sending unit with 1/2 diameter tubing for increased fuel...

IT'S ALIVE! My '68 HCS is one step closer to being on the road again.

Jon, Hard to tell if it is running bad or not. Did you address the fuel system? Drain the tank? New fuel pump? And of course a fuel filter before the carb. Want a carb rebuild and a wet test? Send that two barrel to me!! I will dial it in and send it back. Shipping and parts. Rob

    For Sale 1968 GT/CS Highland Green 289/302

Sheryl, Get the door panels off and look at the latch from inside. Have someone move the door latch and if you will look they are easy to identify. Maybe a squirt of WD-40 will work, but in my case.... Not..... As you know make sure the bulbs are good. I may have access to the old fuel...

My door switches had corrosion on the contacts and needed to be cleaned. Lots of fun to remove and replace, but they worked when done. Rob

Sheryl, My car had the Convenience Group. I had them all working. The door ajar is way fun to work on.... NOT...... The door ajar switch is part of the door latch mechanism and way NOT fun to work on. Hope someone has long thin arms to work through the door openings with the inner door panel...
