I see the 68 pictures, but not the 2007 pictures. Ah - a mystery to be solved. Casey

    Black Chassis Paint

I want to paint the underside of my '66 convertible. It is a nice show car, but not concourse. I just want it looking clean underneath. Problem is that I cant spray while on my back, and the overspray will get on other things in the garage (it is winter here). Eastwood has several versions...

    GT/CS diecast models Group Buy

yikes - I checked and it was $12 to send the metal license frames to Australia, and $11 to send to Iceland. Granted, the metal frames may weigh a little less or be treated differently coming in an envelope rather than a box - but $130 sounds like too much. casey

Special Purchase of GT/CS Diecast Model

I got the white one last week - very nice. The kids keep asking me why I won't take it out of the package. I guess this one is going to remain "concourse" and not be a "daily driver" . A side note - I attempted to follow the instructions Jon noted to get free shipping, but they still...

I am sitting in my office looking at the Dec 06 picture of Paul's GT/CS. What a beauty. How did you ever get those stripes so straight? Casey

    Wikipedia

I added the 2007 GT/California Special information just under the last section "Timeline". It seemed to have the best flow there. Feel free to edit. Can someone with a 2007 on the site add a picture of their car, or send it to me with permission to add it? I could use something off eBay...

    Humidity Level

Thanks guys. I keep my garage about 60 degrees F, and my dehumidifier can go down to 35%. I will set it a bit higher to maybe 45%. I know there is some science between temperature and humidity for humans, but didn't know if this applied to cars. We just had 11 inches of snow in one day...

    Humidity Level

For those of you who "winter" their cars in garages, what is the proper humidity level to keep in the garage? I have a heated garage (gas heat), and on the far end my wife will pull in and out, bringing in snow or rain, and causing windows to fog/sweat in the garage. I have a dehumidifier out...

Well, here are a few from Chicago from today (snow). Today we expect 12to14 inches for our first winter storm. But, we are used to it. Casey

    CS "Convertibles"

Very nicely done convertible. Looks like a recent creation, since the taillight bezels have the black edging not found on the vintage versions. I notice a dealer badge on the back, but cannot read it - possibly this is the custom car company that did this. Also, note that the radio antenna is...

I need your help; for my GT/CS Registry Book

Hi Jeff, My VIN is 8r01c142473, and was serialized 2/5/68 and was actually built 2/21/68 (per Marti). (I am also lucky to have the original build sheet for my car). As another thing possibly of interest to you is at this link. It was a seat tag I found attached to my rear seat spring. If...

    CS "Convertibles"

Jeff, as you mention, there were no CS convertibles built by Ford. But there have been some nice clones modified to look like a CS - even one to two for sale in the last year or so. They definitely look nice. I can dig around in the files to find a picture of one if you like. Casey

Final License Frames - GTCS & HCS

Just a note to remind any new people that may be on the site that I have plenty of these still available for '68 GT/CS or HCS. I was in the basement yesterday and came across the boxes of them, which reminded me to update this sticky. You are welcome to send me a PM or email. Casey
