I would go with block. You have both sides finished when the block is up. I never had much luck with T1-11 plywood. I painted mine every other year and it started to crack now.

My understanding is that the vin number matches the vin number on the car. A J code would be 302 motor but I don't think that you could find about what car that it came out of. I might be wrong but that is my understanding.

???I think that on a 68 radio the push buttons are black plastic while on a 67 they are chrome. Like I said I think that is right.
