:-[Back in late spring or early summer a 68 HCS was up for sale in Ohio. I don't no if he sold it or not but it was in a divorce settlement. I emailed him a couple of times and wanted to no who purchased it but I didn't get a responce. :P It was a yellow one with black strips.

Thanks for the information. I put the turn signals hood lights on. I guess that I better remove them for Nashville show.

Could you get the cobra package with a 289? I though that iy had to be a 302 or larger. I might be wrong.

All GTCS ans HCS came with the louvered hood but did the turn signal come with the package deal or was it am option? if it was what was the price of them back then? Mine didn't have any . ::)

The Marti report should state what came with the car. ::)

:-[I purchased two voltage from two different sources and both were bad, but after the first episode no damage. The first one I had to repaint under the hood and motor compartment. CJ laughted at me.

For a GT the motor was a 302 or larger. No 289 were GT.

My car is a 68 J code hcs with a orginal 302V4 and it had a singal exhaust. and not a GT. But I put duals with cutouts and tips on and it sounds and looks a lot better.

On the lucas lights lens what is the numbers or inscription on them? I guess that they are the same on GTCS and HCS? I'm starting to get a little technical now.

;D You have a nice car to be proud of. The windshield has to be out. I got a guy to do it and it wasn't to expensive. But before you run it check every thing out even if it's new.

I used two inch wide vinyle black electrican tape . I glass beaded the screen and it turned out good. Than popped rivited the screen in. ::)
