    1968 Sunvisor Center Support

Hint when you install a new headliner put screws in the holes before installing the new headliner that way you can find the holes. LOL

    1968 Seat belt Light

Rick the belts lens is part of the 68 instrument cluster and the bulb holder goes in the back of the cluster. It should have a built end that goes in the yellow accessory plug. Too bad you were not at the MCA national Mustang show in McAllen TX. last weekend. It was a nice show but no specials...

    6-Cylinder '68 Mustang

Arlie I see you have the exhaust manifold off. When you reinstall it do not use a gasket, six cylinders are prone to breaking manifolds when a gasket is used. Ford designed a metal to metal fit so the heat in the manifold can transfer to the head. I clean the head surfaces and plane the...

    1968 From the "I didn't know that dep't"

Just because something is rare does not necessary make it valuable. A good example is a bench seat in a Mustang is rare, it is rare because most people wanted buckets seats. To have great value it must be very desirable and rare. Before the hate mail starts I think our are cars are desirable...

1968 Brakes are really slowing down my progress on the HCS

It appears you have it covered. Those old hose are often swollen and blocked internally. You may need to center the piston in the block. But till then you will have brakes! Another tip is to keep pumping fluid through the system till it is all clear. Marty

    1968 Console Removal

That looks real nice! I hated to take the 289 engine apart since it was original but I knew it had that plastic timing chain gear. That one will leave you on the side of the road. So I replaced it.

    1968 Console Removal

It looks like you will have to replace the carpet because of the large hole cut for the console. The carpet looks original so please do not through it out. It may have been easer to get the cup holders that fit in the seat belt pockets in the original console? You may end up replacing the...

    1968 Passenger side scoop

I have been very pleased with the fit of the NOS scoops. If you have replacement quarters I would not expect NOS or reproductions to fit out of the box.

    50th Anniversary Party

For Display you need not be a MCA member and you can come and go any time through out the event. I am planning a 68 display that all 68s will be in regardless of class including display. However if you choose to put your display car in this area you will not be able to leave till 5PM when the...

1968 Brakes are really slowing down my progress on the HCS

The piston is simply a switch to turn on the light that says you have had a front or back brake frailer it does not block the flow. If you get fluid in the back the proportion valve is ok.
