Front Suspension- Upper control Arm Shaft question

Hi All, I dove into the teardown portion of the front supension today. After getting the left side upper control arm off the car, I realized that the rebuild components do not match what came on the car. There appears to be two different types of shaft assemblies. One with the rubber bushings...

    Brake rotor removal

Hi all, This winter's project- As part of an overall bigger project of front (and rear) suspension rebuild on the CS, I'm getting ready to pull the front disc brake rotors and take them in to get them turned. I can see that the rotor and wheel bearing assembly is held on to the spindle...

    What color of side stripes?

If it's any help, I have a Tahoe Turquoise CS and it came with white stripes. What color is your interior? Don't know if interior color (light/dark) in any way determined what color stripes were used. Paul N? Any insight on this? ...Could have had black stripes I suppose.

'08 CS wish list - just for fun.

The '68 Shelby looks black to me ;-) I'm guessing highland green...but who knows?

'08 CS wish list - just for fun.

Yep. It reminds me of the Kelly Clarkson "Go" video that someone had references awhile back...I know that now I'm talking Shelby's...but still a cool video. Here it is again- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b-V45pwLnU8

'08 CS wish list - just for fun.

Hi all, I've been thinking pretty hard about getting an '07 CS. They have really started to grow on me. One of the things that's kept me from doing it (other than I don't have an extra $30K lying around for a coupe version) is the color schemes available...(No offense to those folks who...

    2007 Shelby GT500$$$$$$$$$$

I went to the Mustangs Plus October car show on Saturday. There was a guy there with a beautiful new red '07 GT500 in the show. I was talking with him. He said he paid something less than $15K over MSRP. (I wouldn't ask him how much he paid...he was happy to tell me). He was just thrilled with...

    What was your first car?

Hey all, My apologies if this has been brought up before, but after going through the process of car shopping with my 16 year old son awhile back, it got me to thinking- "What was your first car?" and the second question- "What was the car that you REALLY wanted for your first car?" If you...

    How many were GT's

I would guess that it's 2 to 3%. Probably 80-100. My number crunching is based on there being a little less than 2% (4,766 out of 249,456) of all 1968 hardtops having the GT option. I wonder if we could get this piece of data from Kevin Marti?...without it costing a small fortune ;-) Paul...
