    Chrome Air Cleaner Lid

I checked all my mustang catalogues and no 18 inch chrome air cleaner lids. There is a '67 one on ebay with BIN of $600! Does this other one look right - link below? (Don, Jason?) If so I will bid on it (the seller is a bit picky - no paypal, no checks...but I would go for it). Casey...

    Starter or Battery?

Thanks for the help. It was the battery. I feel a bit dumb, because most people would have tried that first. But, I thought I would be a smarty and do all the tests with the fancy equipment. Guess I'll go back to the 'ole trial and error method I grew up on in the future. Casey

    Chrome Air Cleaner Lid

I am sprucing up my engine compartment just a bit. I have a C code, but would like to add the X code chrome lid with a 289 sticker. Is this a rare item or available from most mustang parts stores? I just want the chrome lid. Thx, Casey

Installed the mini tach where the clock goes

The same one Jason got - from Australia. The only difference seems to be the Jeep one uses two digits (10, 20...60) for the rpm and Australia one uses one digit (1,2...6). It was $79 on ebay. Casey

    Starter or Battery?

    Starter or Battery?

Yes, That is the odd part. The starter actually engages as if you might get the first one half turn over but then stops. Try again and the same thing. Try a couple of times and it begins to turn the engine over. It is not the usual low battery sound that eventually causes the solenoid to...

    Starter or Battery?

Need some help. 351W engine. C4 trans. Starter engages but wont turn engine over. Try two or three times and it usually will finally work normally. I am afraid I will get stuck out somewhere and not be able to start. I have replaced the starter with a recon one, which died (dont know why -...

Installed the mini tach where the clock goes

Paul, thanks! Jason, the instructions say one wire to the negative side of the coil and one wire to ignition power. Did I misunderstand your comment about only one wire needed? Thanks, Casey

Installed the mini tach where the clock goes

I decided to buy one of these and it arrived today. It looks great and I am eager to get it in. I didnt have a clock, so there is a nice blank place to put it. Any tips before I get started? I have taken the instrument cluster out of my '66 before. Just a few screws, unhook the speedo, and...

Sequential LED tail lights from NorthWest Mustang, LLC

Agreed - It's just the normal signal flasher "can" that you replace when your turn signals dont work anymore. It is likely hanging around near your steering column. Unplug the "can" and plug the little module in and you are done. Casey

    Finally its Arrived !!!

Shaun, I dont know how you survived that long of a wait. But, it is a real beauty! I would leave the painted stripes - it is a real touch of custom class and it looks very well done! Though I would change out the fog lights and front grill to get it back to correct GTCS. You have one very...

Hello Everyone, I have shipped 114 license frames so far (20 HCS and 94 GTCS). Thanks for all the notes from each of you. It has been great getting to know you this way. I still have a few GTCS frames available, and plenty of HCS frames. (To get volume discounts, I ended up with a lot of...

    Ford suing Mustang Parts Business

Yep - I also read an article on this whole problem in the latest Mustang Monthly. Seems Ford has decided to even challenge contextual language. I agree with you that a license would be the way to go - so why dont they do that? It makes me wonder if they want to get their hooks in the branded...

    Ford suing Mustang Parts Business

To put things in context - There is a lawyer for every 5,800 people in Japan. There is one for every 270 in the U.S. (BusinessWeek) - You probably have one in your neighborhood.:scared: There are two aspects to this: Business and Law. Trademark law allows Ford to assert against anyone using...
