    289/302 Gtcs

Here is my car (sunlit gold) with the GTCS pedestal - a small round cylinder that puts the Lucas lights about center in the grill. Also, here is the ebay car (candy apple red) with the Shelby pedestal - a small square washer (about 3/4" tall) that puts the Lucas lights close to the bottom of...

    Ford suing Mustang Parts Business

I once saw a "Nicky Mouse" watch in Malaysia. I wonder if we will soon see Nustang Plus and Nustang Monthly. Trademark law is a tough area to litigate and it all comes down to context. What is the context with which the trademark is being used. Clearly one is not prohibited from using the...

    Hi, Introducing myself, Joining in...

Welcome Grant. I think you will find this to be a great bunch - always willing to help with any question. Sorta like a virtual family with open arms. Tell us more about your GTCS. How did you get it in 76? What are you doing with engine now? Thanks, Casey

    289/302 Gtcs

Jason, I agree with you that this one would be a good catch. The only thing that would bother me is how the CS script got backwards. Otherwise everything else is easily dealt with, and a nice car. This one came with Argent wheels from the factory too (and not a GT). Casey

    Deck lid question

I agree with Steve and Don, it is a sign of the real thing. Mine is warped slightly upward on one side, and I tried putting heavy books on it over the winter, but it didnt help. It is the character of the car. I would not think of changing mine out. Casey

    289/302 Gtcs

The convenience light option was a set of lights on the lower console on either side of the compartment door that moves up and down. The lights were for things like seat belts, door ajar, ...I can't remember them all right now. They are shown in a standard 68 mustang options brochure. Casey

    289/302 Gtcs

Nice looking GTCS. Maybe the girl will help sell it. She looks younger than my daughter. Pros- Nice car with Marti report - an original Candy Apple Red. Convenience light group on console (I dont see this often). Factory AC/PS/PB and argent wheels. Cons - They got the...

    For the Dog Lovers

We got a beagle from the area beagle rescue group 9 weeks ago (our beagle of 10 years died last year). Here he is with one of my sons. He has added so much back to our lives. He is all beagle, howling and chasing scents - and we love that. Casey

GT/CS T shirts - Polo shirts GREAT JOB!!!

I like this presentation of the personalized car - I think this would make a great poster for show's. Can it be made big enough to be a poster size? Casey

    Mustang vs Corporate Ford

Here is an article that I thought you all would like. Performance (even with a highly successful product) is rarely rewarded unless you are a good corporate politician. I have seen it time and time again. Casey http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/content/11454903471660478567/

    GT/CS Mustang Times - May

There is a seafoam green GT/CS in the "letters' column of the May Mustang Times in response to the Feb article. Owners are Raymond and Freda Benjamin in Florida. Don't know if they are on the site - but nice looking car. Also there is a column, and picture, on the 2007 GT/CS in the "news and...

    Limited 100

There were quite a few dealer promotions then, as there are in recent days. Though the following link is for 68, it gives you a flavor of how many specials there were then: http://www.geocities.com/mustangs68.geo/specials.html Can you provide us the door plate information and the VIN? Also...

Mustang Day at LACR. New Best Times!!

David. I am not a racer, so my question might be a dumb one. But, is NOS allowed in the race - seems like apple to orange comparison - NOS and no NOS...of course NOS is going to kick in some hp? My guess is that he hit the NOS when he started to pull away from you? If you had NOS, you could...

Aussie Nationals - Produce a couple of CS

A couple questions and comments: It looks like these may have been restored by the same person? They both have pony in the grill (same type - no corral), and they both have shelby pedestals for the fog lights. My dumb question for the day: did they ship CS's whit right hand steering (british...

    Inside Wheel well detail

Is this undercoating? My GT/CS didnt have it, I suspect due to it being sold in CA. But my 66 has it really thick (an Ohio car). Casey

New Custom License Plate with Frame

David, its good to see you getting fired up on the site again! You have some pretty good high hp company now - we better see some smoking tires from one of you for the next calendar picture voting (2007). Casey

What about sequentialflashing tail lights? Would you

Paul - Yes, it is that simple. No heat issues. LEDs are very low heat. Personally I like the sequential. I think the others are cheaper and dont require the control unit where the current flasher can is. Casey
