    1968 C4 Vacuum Modulator

As the engine had to come out for repair took the opportunity to rebuild the C4. A pretty easy weekend job, once you find all the parts! I have two vacuum modulators. One with a green stripe marked K-12-4 and one with a white stripe marked K-12-14. Other than that they appear identical...

    1968 Cam for a C code

So this set would be similar (a bit more lift and duration, I think) to the OEM and swap in with similar results? http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/cca-sk35-231-3/overview/make/ford (cam selection is such a black art...)

    1968 Cam for a C code

What cam would be a good replacement? Engine is apart for some needed work, and going to put in a new cam while its apart. It is a C code GTCS, and is staying one, Autlite 2100, stock exh manifolds, OEM CI heads and intake. Hydraulic lifters and stock heads/valves. Zero interest in...

    1968 Engine bound up...

A long time coming, but the bad news has been delivered. Engine got water in it and seized... 1, 5 and 6. So its off to the machine shop. Its 0.030 over now and unsure if a hone will do it, if not probably looking at sleeving if needed...

    HCS in need of TLC.....

+1 on 20k plus... on the upside its not overly molested, just neglected. Rust looks to be potentially significant, torque box looks shot, door and rear 1/4 show some rot... trunk looks suspect. Engine bay looks pretty stock and the interior needs a gutting and replacement, but thats easy...

    1968 Replacing Rear Bumper

And I think its is supposed to only use 3 screws, I just used the ones available to keep it from sagging.. the piece is a DeadNutsOn one, nice part, correct material (masticated rubber not flat sheet) and fit better than the other repros I had..

    1968 Complete Wiring Harness

Only issue with Midlife is they are 40+ year old wire. Randy does great work, but it can be old, brittle and will show splices in places... but it will be correct. The repros from Pete (Coralsnake) are new and high quality (bought the entire cars wiring from the EXP repli-bute from him) and...

    1968 power steering

Not sure if it is plant specific but my San Jose 68s all have the teal... clean as best you can, I use Prepsol to cut grime, but making it look "new" is really difficult...

. Walmart is selling the latest recognition guide and registry???

Must not have been abe to sell the stock, run of 2000 hard copies takes up a lot of space, may have dumped the remainder to a 3rd party to get the boxes out of the garage?

    1968 Anyone got a pic of a 68 GTCS w/15" 10 spokes

As noted... Neil's first picture is pretty much what mine would look like, but I added hood stripes and a black front spoiler.

1968 older post noting one that does not apper to be in the registry

Mike... EXP is getting the transmission replaced this week. The "new" rebult one from the US crapped out 10 minutes into the break in... it did sit for a while during the build but kinda dissapointing... so not on the road yet. On the positive side I got to build my first automatic, which...

Neil, ouch... but the first one is a perect reference as mine is white/black with vinly roof... Just have to justify the $2000-ish it will cost as a purely cosmetic change. Thanks!!!

    Coil Spring Tools

I never could get the claw type to work very well. By the time you get it in the slack on the claws pulls the nuts inside so close together there was little compression. Awkward as could be. And the shifting issue was always there, gets tight and they slip on the spring (at least the ones...
