1968 How do you top a 620 mile day?

It was a pleasure meeting Stephen yesterday. I enjoyed showing him our family cars but really enjoyed his reaction to my parts room. I could tell he was ready to go shopping. Stephen is one the rare Mustang owners that is not afraid to put his pony on the road and use it like it was intended...

    1968 Ruppstang's new HCS

Well it took four months to disassemble, clean, repair and reassemble. It is done and Tari and I drove it for the first time. This is our first unrestored car and I found it a lot more challenging than a restoration. We will be driving it to the MCA Grand National in Kansas City this Thursday...

    1968 1968 rear defogger

Connie I have not seen a rear window defogger like your before. I suspect it was a dealer installed unit or a aftermarket insulation. Defogger is not listed on your Marti report of options. Was neat to see thanks for posting. Marty

    1968 Power steering hose

There are no good accurate reproduction. You can find a good original, buy a NOS or just go to a NAPA or other supplier and get what they have. I have been asking Blue Dot Co. to make them for the small block but they have not yet. Marty

    Strange Data Plate

I assume you are asking about 1968's, all of the 66-67 HCS were special paint. I do not know of any 68 HCSs that were but can check the registry to be sure.

1968 Passenger side door jamb switch

If you look at the jam the tilt switch hole is 1 1/4 inches below the center of the dome light switch. There is a factory dent in the jam where the tilt switch goes. I hope for you that the security switch used that spot. May be I can get a picture if you need more help. Marty
