    1968 replacement grill Cali Special

Yes, a '67 with the bars removed. You need to cut openigs for and rivet the Marchal brackets (assuming you have them). There are a number of posts on this, but not one comprehensive "how to" (at least that I have found). http://californiaspecial.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9742...

    1968 Green Hornet

$475k. :undecided I'll go 1.25 mil.... one-off prototype.... in spite of all the controversy, documented as "the car" by Fred Goodell. A true one-of-one , and one of a handful of Mustang prototypes in existence... rare and unique is tossed around a lot in sales posts for most mustangs, but...

    1968 68 rear seat...what years are interchangable?

On the headrest issue I am developing a bolt-in adapter to allow adding '69 headrests to the '68 seats...as the TMI only work on 65-67 (and IMHO look kinda funky), and the '69 headrests and brackets are now reproduced. Stay tuned...

    Manufacturing a '68 GT/CS grill

Have all the bits. Were the brackets installed and the the entire assembly painted, or griile and brackets painted separately and then riveted leaving the rivets natural?

. Drake Metal Shelby Taillamp Panel

"metal panel just like Ford used on the originals"???? huh? It is a replacement for the entire tail panel, and original fiberglass, that does still need the pot metal buckets, or some other part as what they show has no way to mount the lights... maybe their LED panels fit too...

    1968 Thermactor Pump

IMCO was detuned to meet emissions without the smog tubes, etc. by using a different carb, timing, etc. "The IMCO system uses thermostatically controlled, heated-air induction systems, dual diaphragm vacuum advance distributors, anti-dieseling throttle-stop solenoids, a distributer modulation...

1968 68 GT with drum brakes?

My '68 S code convertible was a BOSE w/C6, power top, glass window, AM. And drums all around. Not a GT Have heard some ordered big blocks for drag racing w/drums to drop the exra weight...

    . Carburetor CFM Chart

One has to remember that carb ratings are based on a "standard" vacuum, which is rarely seen on the car. 1.5" Hg for a 4V, 3.0" Hg for a 2V, which is a static flow condion seen only rarely, if ever, on the car... And VE's for stock are "normally" in the .75 range, abouve .8 is getting into...

1968 68 GT with drum brakes?

"but 68's disks were standard equipment...." Nope. +1 on GT did not include discs in '68. My S code coupe, non CS, both GT and discs on the Marti... separate options that year. Most of what I have seen indicated discs were standard with the GT option in '67 and '69, but as a '68 owner never...

    1968 Seats

TMI should make them, or can as a special order. Cushions are not the same due the '68's being two post and the '69 single post. They were cut differently to accomodate... You can pretty easily adapt the '68 set back to take a '69 headrest, the 69 rests are reproduced and of pretty good...

    1968 Roof Rack???

Woulda been a stock option for any '68 coupe, not just the GT/CS. Never seen a Ford listing for that option... not that I'd think it would look very good... roof racks and tow bars just don't belong on a Mustang IMHO... :undecided Even the trunk mouted luggage rack is a bit dickey... A few...
