1968 Looking for PPG formula for 68 Highland Green

I don't have original. I have PPG in old style and new watermix, same vendor, "same" formula, different colors. All "simialr" and if you saw in on a car sitting alone it would not be obvious. But side by side, no doubt the colors differ... I forget which other brands my painter mentioned...

1968 Looking for PPG formula for 68 Highland Green

Well... all I can say is there is about 0% chance of matching original. I have 4 test colors of "Highland green" from different paint vendors and they all look very different... so much for any restored car looking "original"... just going to pick a Glasurit cutom color as all were a bit...

    1968 Alignment, add shims?

Recommendations? I have seen some posts about adding shims of ~1/8" to the UCA's to get better alignment numbers for radials on the '68's. As I'm looking at a Shelby drop, then is the time to add the shims as realignment will be required. Recommended specs for caster, camber, toe? Have big...

    Driveshaft Markings - 68 San Jose S code/C6 - non GT/CS

Man I miss the US and prices there... 22 there, 70 here... and our dollar is now even with the US (unlike at 50c wehn i moved there in 2001) Paid over $120 the other day for fluid to refill my C6. $40 in brake fluid (3 x 500ml) to flush... An oil change is $50 of oil plus $20 for a filter... ;-(

    1968 Tail light panel sealer?

I recently bought a slightly damaged OEM Shelby panel, can't say for sure if the GT/CS is the same, but that one did have a sealer applied around the panel. Similar to the strip caulk, but seemed a lot harder than most I have removed... I'll see if I can dig up some pictures.

    Highland Green Paint Formula

    1968 Export Brace

The spacing of the holes is staggered on stock Mustangs. Some vendors sell "even spaced" ones for Shelby applications. Not sure if its a 65-66 thing or all... Note below, the spacing between the two middle bolts is diferent to that between the outer and inners on each side. Odd spacing. On...

Repros for $40, "better" thicker OE "odd spacing" go for for $60... and an hour to install? Same cost as a drive to get a tank of gas... and for me working on the cars is almost as mcuh fun as driving them! Yep, worth it. I've heard the horror stories of sag, but on all 4 I've put them on...
