I have not see a Ford optioned set of rear speakers but it is interesting that they made provisions for them.

We ended up using a laser line to get it strait based off the dimensions from the door.

When we stripped our car we found the dimensions for in front of the fender way off. We aliened it with the main stripe and it looked a lot better. Marty

Yes you are correct that is not how Ford did it. Both hoses should be routed through the clamp and insulator by the motor mount. I can not tell from you pictures whether or not you have the correct hoses. Here are some pics of my car and how the hoses are routed. My car is a C code 289.
