Wow, $200 for the gold one, wonder what I could get for my silver one that I laminated after carefully peeling it off the car? It went to a good cause though!

Oh it's you Arlie! I thought Donna was posting more stuff she found of herself and her CS in a magazine! :icon_ecst

I'm in for a few! And what do you mean 2007-2009 ?? Did I miss something? Edit: Just saw the other thread with the 2009 info.

Welcome to a fellow New Yorker! Welcome to the site and good luck with your car. Sounds great!! I'm in Dutchess County and work in Westchester County. There aren't too many of us New Yawkas here on the site.

Thank you! Hello Mr Grey, I can't thank you enough for helping make this car happen. I've been a Mustang person all my life. I remember being 4 or 5 years old in 1969 with my first Mustang a red Tootsie toy (little metal cars that were hollow if people recall - see picture below) that I...

First let me pick myself up off the floor... Wow! I never thought I'd see the day you sold your CS. I know how much it means to you guys and all you put into it. The pictures show that. I can't imagine how tough it was to arrive at the decision. Having said all that and I'm sure...

This car is in Hemmings too. http://www.hemmings.com/classifieds/carsforsale/ford/mustang_california_special/591475.html

Welcome to the wold of CS ownership Chip and to the site! You've come to the right place for info on the cars. Good Luck, looking forward to pictures!

Hey Donna, Cool find! Any chance of scanning and posting some of that stuff?

Well that could be a problem. It's a dealer so if they're not posting a price they're probably asking a lot of money  Wasn't that red GT/CS that was for sale a few times on eBay last year also from Eugene, OR?

Aren't they going to correct your class when you get there? I know a lot of shows I go to they correct the classes if the person registered wrong. Our club show has a lot of these every year.

Looks like details are coming... 1968 FORD MUSTANG GT CALIFORNIA SPECIAL, Details posted soon! Nice looking car, I like that color with the white top.

I exchanged emails with the seller. He customized it himself. He does a lot of police cars. He picked the GT/CS because of the color and it was on sale he said. I was going to bid but didn't get back online on time. It already sold. Here is his website. http://www.chpcustoms.com/

I'm assuming these were custom made (I could be wrong). The seller has a number of cars done as different police agencies from different areas. Maybe he happened to have the CS in white and that matched the decals he had. Being from NY and close to Manhattan I was very tempted to pick it...

They are replaying it Saturday 2/23 at 9pm EST for those that want to catch a glimpse I'm guessing I won't be seeing a Shelby GT500 KR like this at one of my local car shows anytime soon  Although I did enter the contest to win one!

Way to go!! Congrats, well deserved!

I've been watching the forum numbers at the bottom of the home forum page and it looks like we're getting close to at least 1 new member on the forum everyday. Welcome to all New Members - post a hello and introduce yourself let us know you're interests in the CS/HCS and others. Currently...

I'll waive my normal fee for you  I think I asked you this once before but don't remember ... did you post on the Jay Leno garage site too? I saw my old car out there once and was shocked!

This looks like the one that was just relisted on eBay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=120222056334&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:us

As far as seeing the show it looks like they're playing it again next Saturday night 2/23.
