    Headrest Hardware

The chrome sleeves are very hard to find unbroken. I recomend wraping them with several layers of aluminum foil tape. When installing them do not turn from the top. Ford had a tool that fit in a hex hole near the bottem. It was easy to make one. Marty

    1968 exhaust system thoughts

If you want the best then you must have a Scott Fuller reproduction. They fit as good as they look and are a must have for a concours restoration. You can see pictures on my thread "New life for old red HCS"of the syestem on and off the car. Marty

    1968 Grill color

I discovered that the dark argent grill color is the same color used to shade the 65-67 styled steel wheels. My freind is getting his 66 GT convertible ready for the MCA grand national and was going to repaint his wheels but the paint he got was too light. I told him that I had a cuctom color...

1968 Wanted - 2 inch fan spacer and bolts

You either have the wrong schroud or the wrong fan. It is important to have the fan near the radiator to be effective. I see if I can find the correct #s. Marty

I went through the show registrations again and found a 68 black HCS. I have judged it before and it is a beautifully restored car. As of now the HCS's rule. May be Bob Teets will bring his R code HCS and make it three.

    1968 Done!!

I laughed too when I saw the temp gage in the vent because that is exactly where mine is in the fastback. Neil the quility of your work is outstanding! You need to move up to concours driven so I can judge your car some time. I love cars like yours, never much to writing on the judge sheets. Marty
