    1968 Welded Shock Towers

Here are photos of the welds on the driver's side shock tower. The rear weld is so sloppy I thought a former owner (FO) performed the work. Notice how the welding includes the angled top piece. Do other cars we've found include welds on the angled portion of the shock towers or only on the...

1968 New member!!!! 68 California Special!

Wow, that looks really solid. Is there no rust at all, other than the old door patch? When you have a minute please send your VIN to Mike the Registrar (somethingspecial) so he can include the car in the registry. Or send it to me and I'll get it to him. Thanks Arlie

1968 Is anyone here running a MustangII front suspansion on their CS?

How much do you want to spend? There is no reason to go to a Mustang 2 suspension when there are such great bolt-on setups on the market. Global West and Total Control make good systems. We may need to introduce you to Rob!!

For Sale 1968 GT/CS in San Diego CL

I love that color combination! I think a black vinyl top perfectly compliments black stripes, on almost any color GT/CS.

    1968 Stalls under Load

That same thing happened to Bill (Nfrntau). The engine builder used a 302 cam in Bill's 351. It ran using the 351 firing order but it sure didn't run well. After a few hours of head scratching and swearing I convinced him to call the builder to find out what cam he put in the car. We moved...

Here's a link to the Gastown site. http://www.gastownclassics.com/1968-ford-mustang-california-special-1/ The car is beautiful, and restored to a very high standard, but why didn't...
