    1968 roof console

The kit comes with a new fuel gauge. The only thing you need to purchase is an oil gauge sending unit for a light instead of a gauge. you need to pull the instrument cluster and remove the back, and there is a little easy rewiring but the kit comes with all the jumpers and wire.

    1968 Deluxe seatback bars

Neil, It may be a Mickey Mouse way of doing it but the tops of the buttoms seem to line up with the side latch.

    1968 Speedo Cable Install

The worst one has to be the hood latch!!! It's a tool-thrower. Another one that hurts like a bugger is the pointy top of the vent window frame, when the side window is rolled down.

    Wanted 1968 GT/CS or HCS

For a little more history on the car - this was Cameron's car that I purchased a few years ago so he could buy Jason's S-code. I fixed it up a bit then sold it to Neil, then when I posted an ad here looking for a restored car Neil suggested the color change to Highland Green. That sealed the...

    Wanted 1968 GT/CS or HCS

I need to warn you that Highland Green is a difficult color to find. That said, there is one for sale in Canada for around $35K if you want to get into that range. http://www.cars-on-line.com/69177.html On the plus side, now that I've ordered my Highland Green car you won't be competing with...

We are talking about that car. Here is the Marti. The car is an early coupe with GT/CS parts added to it.

    1968 First timer here

It' difficult to find a GT/CS shell for that price so you may actually be looking at a bargain, unless it's a total rust bucket. IMO the first thing to do is to make sure it's real. If the seller doesn't have a Marti report send me the VIN and I'll get one for you. Hold on a minute, are we...

Are you looking at such a car? If you are it would sure help us to see some photos. Don't worry, none of these folks will buy the car out from under you. This is a good, honest group. Can you post the VIN, or send it to me in a private message if you don't want to post it?

    1968 First timer here

Welcome to the group! This is an example of the black-out hood option. http://www.californiaspecial.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11124 I'll leave it to others to address your pricing questions. When you say condition 4-5 do you mean a non-running project car or a rough driver?

    1968 Speedo Cable Install

Rob, Be super careful when unscrewing the HVAC controls. Loosen or remove the bottom two screws first so you don't put any pressure on the fragile chrome frame.
