Ford_Chevy_Classics (or whatever it's called) in Dallas sold the car on eBay a few weeks ago.

Now he says it doesn't matter what the ad says because he isn't really selling the car now, anyway. He's just testing the market, but when he does sell it for real he'll clearly state in the ad that the car is not a real California Special.

He's now claiming that this phrase "Up for auction is a nice 68' Ford Mustang 289 V8 Auto that is built as a California Special" clearly states that the car is not a real California Special. I don't know; my car was built as a California Special and it's real. It's not 68' long, though.

I've been told that the Drake part is an exact duplicate of the Ford part. If that is true I certainly don't want to be giving out false information so does anyone have an original Ford control arm laying around that we can compare?

Check out the volume difference between the '68 2V and 4V heads (63 vs. 53.5). The 289 2V heads create a compression ratio of roughly 8.5, while the 302 4V heads are in the 9.5 range.
