You ordered it in November 2010 and expect delivery in March so I wonder why it would be badged as a 2012. Are they rolling the 2012s out mid-year (April)?

And even if you turn the cap a little, let it radiator burp, turn it a little more and let it burp again, etc. you never know for sure if or when it has really burped itself out. Yes, I pulled an Amy a couple months ago.

    . Tachometers

Off topic, but if you want a great kill switch just unplug the tach. If I remember correctly (learned the hard way) the tach is inline with the coil and it must be installed or jumped for the car to run.

Do you know if the quarter panels have been replaced? The June build date is late in the run but the quarters seem to have recessed reflectors, which indicates and early build.

1968 Who else has "dog dish" hub caps on their 1968 Mustang?

If I remember correctly the full wheel covers don't cover the outer 1/2" or so of the wheels.

    . Tachometers

Here's the Marti report for the GT/CS I owned in the '70s & '80s. It shows the tach and trip odometer as a line item but it doesn't say if it's 6K or 8K.

    Gone, but not forgotten.

Same here. In the past 3 years I got divorced, lost my mother, my father, and had to put down 2 dogs. Out of those 5 events putting down Abby, the wonderful malamute pound mutt, was the roughest.

    Scott Drake Lower Control Arms

This Shelby is supposed to be an original survivor. Its lower control arms have little brackets welded on each side. Is that original? What are they for? Check out the missing camber adjustment bracket. Could Ford have just forgetten to install it? Edit Good catch Neil...
