    Ground wire for tail lights

Harry, here's where the ground wire is on my car.

What about sequentialflashing tail lights? Would you

You get 6 LED light boards that replace your standard bulbs. Each board of lights is probably 2" square or so. The only other part is the flasher. If you go sequential the LEDs must be installed per outer, middle, inner so they flash correctly.

This Car Never Ceases to Amaze me

The way the louvers are angled they blocked the lenses. Could have probably seen something at night.

PICTURES from Grass Valley Show (featuring Midnight Special and Something Special)

Depending on how much you want to spend you might be interested in a red J-code in Portland, Oregon. Listed at $28K I think. Of course that's just the listed price. http://californiaspecial.com/forums/t3065-gtcs-j-code-for-sale.html

What about sequentialflashing tail lights? Would you

You can get the kits from Mustang Project (IMHO M.P. is a real pain in the ass), or NPD, or other suppliers. It's just 6 tail lights and a new flasher to replace the can under the dash. Takes less than 10 minutes. Around $150 to $180 depending on who you buy it from. I'm use them for the...

This Car Never Ceases to Amaze me

The turn signal hood was standard on the GT/CS and I believe it was standard on all '68 Mustangs. It was optional in '67.

This Car Never Ceases to Amaze me

Took the car to the gas station last saturday morning to fill up the new tank since doing the 2-gallons-at-a-time thing was getting a little old. On the way there I was perplexed by the fact that I couldn't see the hood turn signals. Check out the photos.   Guess I'll just...

Paul, I assume your new book will list the VINs and scheduled build dates, but are you going to list the actual build dates for the cars with Marti reports? That information alone may give us enough information to get a fairly good handle on the batch dates.

    Really "original" license plate frames/script

There have been numerous threads on this site that cover our searches for original dealer frames and correct vintage plates. Very few, if any, of us would throw away original dealer frames or plates. I think most people go the custom route when what they have is not original.

The build date idea won't work. According to my Marti report the date on the door tag is the scheduled build date, not the actual date. So unless everyone orders and submits Marti reports we won't know which car was built when. Running the calculations from the VINs should get us close...

    Ford's Traveling Showroom

Nothing of any real interest. There was a charcoal gray Mustang GT convertible. Its sticker was over $35,000 but our price would have been around $32,000. Still too much for a Mustang. It wasn't a total bust, at least the ice cream was good!!! What are your thoughts on the interior of the...

    Ford's Traveling Showroom

I never knew this before but Ford seems to have a traveling showroom. They have pretty well taken over one of our parking lots outside my window. Our company is a "partner" with Ford in that we get discounts on cars and their employees get discounts on funerals and cemetery property so I...
