    Re-tire to what?

It looks like the Yokohama Avid ST pretty well matches the Firestone's for $20 per tire less ($52). All the American tires pretty well suck when it comes to wet traction.

    Re-tire to what?

Goodyear rates all their tires on their web-site and the Eagle GT 2s show a wet traction rating of 6. That ain't good. No wonder you spun out! They have other tires with much better wet traction ratings. What size rear tires are you going to run? I'm really glad you started this thread...

    88 Recognition Guide for Sale

A co-worker and friend of mine saw the $304 sale on eBay and asked me if I would auction his '88 Recognition Guide for him. I told him I would but would like to offer it to this group first. He's willing to take $200 for it. It's in great shape. No pages have started coming loose yet but...

    NOS Grille on eBay

Rhonda, it may be a corroded wire inside the housing. Just remove the 2 screws in the front of the light and you will be able to remove the lens assembly and check the wires.

    NOS Grille on eBay

Correct, they have clear lenses with lines in the center portion only. Apparently most European cars had one driving light and one fog light so whenever I buy a pair with good housings I end up with an extra driving light. It's possible to pick up a pair with trashed housings for around $100...

    Grill detailing

I agree with Steve. Jason your grille looks darker than any I've seen before. You may have got a bad batch. The '67 wheel paint I use looks like a better match to me.

    NOS Grille on eBay

Rhonda, they are Lucas driving lights but again I sold things way to cheap and both sets have been spoken for. Well, one set for sure. The other speaker may go another route that I recommended to him. I'll post again this weekend after the eBay auction is over and I know what the other person...

    NOS Grille on eBay

Don, I agree 100%. If anyone wants a set of driving lenses I have two extra sets but one set may go on in the set I have on eBay in a couple days. First $45 for 2 lenses takes the pair. That is without bulbs since I haven't had a chance to get to the autoparts store yet.

Saw this on ebay: "1968 MUSTANG CALIFORNIA SPECIAL VIN TAG ENGINE TAG"

Why? We just need to let it die. I know I've certainly got better things to do. Like finish installing my carpet, now that it has finally warmed up a little.

Saw this on ebay: "1968 MUSTANG CALIFORNIA SPECIAL VIN TAG ENGINE TAG"

The way I read the article the "running vehicle" portion applies only to vehicle titles. "Vehicle Titles may only be referenced in listings when accompanied by a functioning vehicle." We are not dealing with vehicle titles we are dealing with VIN plates and as far as I can tell VIN plates are...
