    1968 Brighter brake light bulbs??

I went with the LED option for tail-lights, dash lights and hood signals - I didnt want to remove the instrument panel again, and I love the sequential's. I got everyhting from Mustang Project too - highly recommended!

    1968 Heated Freeze out plug?

I cant vouch for '68 models but I do know that my '67 came from the factory with the block heater option. Listed as an immersion heater on the Marti report.

1968 Spring is in tha air

Fired up the Cal Special on Saturday and went for a quick rip through the neighborhood. Still lots of gravel and potholes but will be heading for the first car show of the season this weekend - Draggins at Prairieland Park.

    1968 Dream drive

Just take me anywhere that is warmer than -30C. Stupid weather in Saskatoon. But I still couldn't resist driving in the snow when we moved house last month.

    C code detailing

Get yourself a copy of the 1964 1/2 - 1973 Mustang Detailing Guide. It has a very detailed section on engine compartment detailing.

. International Mustang Meet - Bozeman

Should be a large party coming from Saskatoon this year. Unfortunately I can't make it down there with the CS - have another commitment. It will be a great show!

1968 Should I buy? Help request

Buy the car otherwise in 6 months time when you see it driving down the road with someone else behind the wheel you'll be kicking yourself for not jumping on it. Personally, I think if he has an offer on it, you have to at least match it - its the right thing to do if you want the car, and...

1968 Need help, No Spark from Dist.

Mike, I did the exact same thing last year with my 67 coupe, changed the points but not the condenser. Felt like a dick going back to Parts Source to get one after I told the guy emphatically that I didn't need a condenser when I bought the points. That smug b##tard was smiling and I'm sure I...

    For Sale 1968 GT/CS J-code on Ebay

For $30,000 I would expect the engine bay and underside to be freshened up. And did those mufflers get made on the farm? Never seen a set like that before.

    Trunk weatherstrip

It will settle down eventually. Mine was out of whack until a few months went by and not it closes easily and evenly

    For Sale 1968 gt/cs

I doubt the interior is original as stated either. No shoulder strap belts or coat hooks (looks like the coat hooks were covered over by the aftermarket headliner). And the green carpet doesn't look right - its a ghastly green!

    1968 Gas Tank Capacity

I don't know, they way we are being robbed at the gas stations in Saskatoon it seems that my gas tank shrinks every week.

1968 Calspec wins best of show

Well, I am still in shock, but also very proud to have a Cal Special take the award. I was never quite sure about the colour, but it all turned out good. I must say that this website and the people associated with it are a huge help when it comes to doing a restoration - thanks to all. Next year...

International Mustang Meet - Labor Day Weekend

Hey BoB & Gary, will be good to catch up with you guys again. I should be in stock but you never know, they can hit you up on the oddest things. Yes, had lots of engine troubles, heart breaking. I seized the first rebuild and knew that something must have been screwed up but couldn't identify...

    1968 First Car Show - Draggins 2012

We ended up with a 2nd place trophy for Restored Factory Production Muscle Car (65-69) - beaten out by a beautiful Boss 429 car from Alberta (Northern Pony Bob, you may know the car, Jade Green and he has a couch made from the front end of a mustang) Anyway, really happy with the result...

    1968 Restoration Completed

Some days I wasn't sure if it was worth it - but now that its completed, I'm really happy to see the result. Would I do it again? Not bloody likely! Terry, I have 70 x 215 rubber on the 15" ten spokes. No rubbing issues. I did try 235's but they rubbed on the spindles. I decided to keep the...

    1968 Restoration Completed

Finally, after 5 years and much blood, sweat and tears, I have completed the car. I dropped her off tonight at the Saskatoon prairieland exhibition hall in time for the opening of the Easter weekend Draggins car show. Two photos to compare. The car is now back to its original glory (with a few...
