My son and I are getting the HCS ready for media blasting. We're not completely disassembling to put on a rotisserie. We'll trailer it to the shop on 4 wheels with all the drive train installed and in running condition. The plan is to remove the hood, front fenders, front valance, grille, etc...

Agreed that those should will look good. Any bolt-on parts are a pretty safe bet as long as you keep your originals in case you or a future owner wants to revert back in the future.

Sorry. I just realized the links I provided above are for the seal between the vent housing and the cowl. Not the smaller ring that goes on the actual flap inside the vent.

Are you talking about the round foam gasket? Here are a few links, although not with the greatest customer reviews. Maybe there's a better one that's rubber instead of foam, but I couldn't find it. Mine is so disintegrated that I can't tell if it was originally foam or rubber...

Glad you got logged in Dave. Sorry if you had to jump through some hoops. Immediately after the forum upgrade my email went down, so I wasn't aware people were having issues logging in. The email problem is fixed, so the password reset process now works again.
