. Happy Birthday GTCS S Code

Thanks for that everyone! Well, 61 and still counting! (WAY better than the alternative too!) Not sure about the big show in Vancouver this year ... shaping up to be a very busy year for us, plus there is still some work needed to be done on our GT/CS before I'd want to take it over and show...

Ditto! Keep Steve and I posted with your Vancouver Island dates as you get them and we'll see if we can't all get together for some dinner and a visit while you're up here working!

    Friday Joke

A guy was getting ready to tee off on the first hole when a second golfer approached and asked if he could join him. The first said that he usually played alone, but agreed to the twosome. Their scores were even after the first few holes so the second guy said: "We seem to be about evenly...

    Vancouver Island

Another thought too ... Would you be flying up here to the Island? Would you need someone to pick you up at the Victoria International Airport and drive you over here for the home cooked meal and the glass of vino?

    Vancouver Island

Any idea when you might be coming up our way (Victoria / Vancouver Island)? Do you need a place to stay while you're working up here? Or do you just want to drop by for a home cooked meal and a glass of vino with some "forum friends" and get a chance to fondle someone else's GT/CS for a...

For Sale Anyone gone and had a look at this one yet?

http://seattle.craigslist.org/see/ctd/4294781177.html I have a local friend up here in Victoria that has emailed me and asked about the car listed above and I wondered if anyone that lives down in Seattle or near Tacoma might have dropped by this dealership and checked out this GT/CS that they...

. Beware when selling car. Stolen Mustang

Thefts ... It's amazing how brazen some of these auto thieves can be. Here in Victoria there is a "pull off" and parking area right off the main Island Highway that runs up and down Vancouver Island. Since there is a lot of traffic passing by that spot all day long going in both directions it...

    Short Mustang film.

Too funny! Thanks for that one, I loved it! I showed it to my 15 year old grandson when he was over here and although he chuckled I'm sure he was not amused ...

For Sale 1968 GT/CS "barn find" on CL

This one appears to be getting weirder too ... Our friend from up here in Victoria called to talk to the fellow about this GT/CS and the seller told him that "he already had a buyer coming shortly with a $14,500 cash offer" ($1,500 over the asking price?) and would he like to offer him MORE than...

For Sale 1968 GT/CS "barn find" on CL

Did anyone talk to the fellow in San Francisco about this "barn find" car yet to confirm if it is actually a GT/CS? No mention of a Marti report in his ad. No stripes, wrong fog lights and he seems unwilling to try to start it to see if it runs, but might be a good project car if a MR confirms...

    For Sale 1968 gt/cs

Has anyone that lives in the area gone down to view this GT/CS complete with Marti report that is up for sale at this Tacoma, Washington dealership? It is missing the fog lights and has no side stripes (possible damage from an accident?) I'm surprised that they would list it for sale on the...

1968 Langford Car Show today ...

Langford not Langley ... This show was out in "Langford" which is a suburb municipality just outside of Victoria on Vancouver Island ... "Langley" is over on the BC mainland ... Steve and I did talk to a young fellow at this show that just became the new owner of a car that has been in his...

    1966 mustang rallypac

Hmmm ... sounds like that might be tough these days ... I just checked and "The Tachman" who specializes in rebuilding Ford gauges (and has for years) says on his website that he no longer rebuilds or services '65 to '66 Rally Pacs! (With no explanation why either?) There were a few links in...

. Oak Bay Collector Car Show in Victoria, B.C. Canada

Nope ... several other Mustangs including some from our local club (VIMA), but no other California Specials showed up for this one. It sure is a good show though, with a wide variety of vehicles including a lot of British cars. We'll have to make sure that VIMA gets it onto next year's car...
