Status report ... Great thread idea Mike! Our Candy Apple Red "S" code 390 4 speed car is at about 85% finished to my way of thinking. It is one of the 111 390 4 speed cars that were produced (27 of those in Candy Apple Red). We've incorporated some slight resto-mods as it is a car intended...

We get the darn things in our front yard eating Laurie's plants! (... and not little guys either ... BIG bucks ...) :mad:

THE toughest thing ... I think the toughest thing to find so far has been the funds to finish the project properly! :wink:

Great trip ... Yeah, we had a great time and "kicked back" for a week and forgot the world outside! I retired in mid July and Laurie is now making plans to do the same about next May or June, so hopefully we'll get more time for travel, exploring, and a bit more bird hunting while our old dog...
