Made me smile. Must have been very satisfying to "blow the cobwebs" out afterwards.

    1968 Lucas Lights Seem Dim

Lots of vintage Ford alternators do not put out much voltage at idle. Ever notice how dim their headlights are while sitting at a stop light?

    For Sale 1968 - GT/CS Meadowlark Yellow S Code 390 Auto

That car has the rare Convenience Control Panel option. Only about 1% of 1968 Mustangs got that option. When optioned with A/C, a console was mandatory. Very cool.

    1968 Shock Tower Holes

If you decide to strip everything down, these weld in plates are a good idea. https://secure.cougarpartscatalog.com/towerbrace.html?sessionthemeid=26 Inspect those shock towers, mine were cracked in a couple of places on both sides.

For Sale 1968 GTCS Green C Code 289 Auto - Temecula, California

Was born Lime Green with drum brakes. Color change and disc brake conversion? Not knocking the car, just pointing out observations for potential buyers. I like the overall originality, someone also added a center piece to the grille. Grille appears to have the correct fog light brackets.

    Another Bad Idea?

How about a Buick Grand National El Camino? From Hoovie's Garage, Tyler Hoover's girl friend April Rose, purchased this one. I think that an El Camino based conversion would have been better.

    1968 Radiator Fan Shroud

Good news, the 24 inch fan shrouds for Mustangs have 25 inches on center for the horizontal. Vertical is 10-1/4, might have to file a bit to fit fasteners. Measured from a Daniel Carpenter manufactured small block fans shroud C9OZ-8146. Same for 1968-69 289/302/351W.

    1968 Radiator Fan Shroud

Arlie, If you can get me measurements of the side holes. i.e. horizontal and vertical measurements, I can compare to stock Mustang shrouds. Hopefully the radiator is situated so that the fan is will be centered in the shroud with those mounting holes.

    Another Bad Idea?

What happened? did they run out of money before they built the rear wheel skirts, and the steer horns for the front of the hood? Double yuck.

1968 VIN tag on dash - Does the dash pad slip under or is it cut out?

Yes, tag has to be visible. The OEM dash pads for 1968 probably had a notch for the tag.
