No lube inside either? Sound like excessive play on the ring and pinion, if that is the noise.

    1968 Electrical problem

I would surmise that it is the added load of the 6 brake light bulbs being lit. Additionally, the turn signal switches are not near strong enough to carry the load. Common problem on the Cougars. Changing to Plasma LED tail light bulbs, and electronic turn signal flashers is one solution.

    For Sale '68 Acapulco X-Code GT/CS

Nice strong selling price. The car shows pretty well, from the pictures. A factory J code, with A/C and disc brakes should fair just as well, or better. In the same overall condition, of course. What do you all think?

    1968 Road Warrior 2

Check with your Transmission supplier. Had a buddy running a Lentech Ford AOD and a 2.75 rear gear. He almost burned up the transmission, because not enough fluid was circulating? I think that was the reason. What happened to your six shooter? We thought that was the RW2

That looks pretty thin for gear oil, it looks like you have some contamination? I would lean more towards a 3.50 ratio for a carbureted V8 engine, but that is just me. You had the Road Warrior 1, when you came by that time, right?

If you are only looking for the console base, you should specify with or without air conditioning. A/C cars had to have several inches cut off to fit.

    '62 T-Bird Wagon

Looks like they used a Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser roof. I like it, but in someone else's garage.

Chances are it is legit. Along with what was said above, it looks like the proper hood lock bracket attached to radiator core support?

    1968 Cooling Fans

I installed dual Spal fans on my 1969 CJ. They worked, but were noisy. The radiator shop that custom made my fan shroud with dual fans said that a cross flow radiator design would work best.

Just a comment on the available reproduction jack. Here is our description: Reproduction scissor jack for any year Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. This is a cheap Chinese jack that is clearly marked "For Display Use Only, Not for Lifting Vehicles". It resembles an original scissors jack, but...
