    +1 #35 - Orange is what I found in other schematics. Presuming that Ford was consistent with there wire colors across the board in all of their drawings.

    Survivor with patina or restoration candidate, would be bettor descriptors. Mint, the plant comes to mind. Kind of fuzzy, with an odor. Might be a decent starting point for someone looking to do a coupe restoration or for a driver.

    Found an example of an original, they do have bushings that extend like in your photo. Editing what I said above. Originals do not have zerk fittings. Additionally the threaded portion that protrudes from the nut is "pinched", so it can not loosen.

    That one is aftermarket. I have seen it before. Has zerk fitting and wrong or no swedging on the threads. I have seen examples with Ford part numbers too.

    I like the Torque Thrust wheels on that car. Also like the styled steel wheels for 1968. Those are my two choices over stock hub caps.

    Are you using the thermal vacuum switch on your water neck? If you are, and it is working properly, your vacuum advance on the distributor has changed.

    Yes, could be. Also the ignition wiring plug going to the switch is notorious for failing. Look for signs of hot or melted wires at the ignition switch plug.
