    1968 Replace a 1V with a 2V

    Only the 1100 just dumps in the fuel, the 2100 and 4100 have annular discharge jets that better atomize the fuel. That is what makes them such great carburetors.

    1968 Interior color ?????

    Yes carpet, headliner, dash pad and door panels were black. The painted surfaces were charcoal black metallic. We have a 68 HCS with the same exterior and interior colors.

    1968 Little Red Found in Texas

    It is interesting that it has a 68 style steering wheel on a 67 column. It also has a 68 radio with 67 knobs. Very cool.

    The correct 68 AM-FM radio is a 8TPZ and the 8track is a F8TBZ.

    I do not know anything about this swap but the 2100 is a lot better carb that the 1100 because the fuel is discharged through a annular discharge which better atomizes the fuel. That gives it better performance and fuel economy.

    For Sale 1968 S-code 4 speed GT/CS on E bay

    That badge was not used by Ford on any of the GT/CS or HCS cars. The owner stated above that he add the badge and has another one. It probably was sold by Shelby with some of their performance kits. Marty
