John, Here's a link to a picture of the badge on my HCS. It's original and one piece. Doesn't track with your findings on other cars though. Do you have any pictures of those cars? http://www.scottfullerreproductions.com/albums/album_image/5235457/1550365.htm Scott

    '68 Convert DONE

Neil, The car is beautiful. Really came out great. No trunk pictures? I assume that you are embarrassed because you don't have a shiny, new J-bolt. I have a solution for you. I just got done making them. Don't even have them on my website yet. Let me know if you need one. $14.95/each...

    1968 Missing VIN

There are plenty of GT/CSs out there to buy. I wouldn't buy one with a VIN issue unless it's a 390 or something pretty rare. If it's a 289 or 302, look for another one. Scott

Mike, Does your 390 car have 28 or 31-spline axles? Scott

1968 9-inch Rear End on Mustang GT

Jeff, Terry, Thanks. Martix updated. Do either of you know if the 390-2v or 390-4v used 31-spline axles? I'd guess that maybe the 390-4v GT did, but don't know. Scott

1968 9-inch Rear End on Mustang GT

Terry, Do we have any Marti reports for GT vs non-GT X-codes? Or do you think it's the same axle ratio for both? Scott

OK. I think this is almost done. Anyone have a 6-cyl with a C4? That's the only box I need information for. Scott

1968 9-inch Rear End on Mustang GT

OK. I think I have confirmed all the information in the matrix except for the yellow areas. I don't actually know if you could get a 302 GT with a 3-speed manual. Any help on the yellow areas would be appreciated. Scott
