    1968 Radiator mystery

Many thanks to all of you. You're AMAZING with all the knowledge. Scott the engine does have a 4 bolt crank pulley, so as you said it is a 70 or later 302. That would explain the left hand/drivers side water pump and radiator inlet. Again thank all of you for your imput. Ralph

    1968 Radiator mystery

Thank you deadstang for the info. My current set up has the water outlet from the water pump on the drivers side of the motor. The radiator bottom hose is also on the drivers side. Was the heavy duty radiator, And water pump for the A/C different than that of a non A/C car? I am still...

    1968 Radiator mystery

We just returned from out annual trip to Reno for Hot August Nights. Great show as always but too big to see all the cars. We did see a White/black stripe car in the Grand Sierra parade but that was the only other CS that we saw. Any way, our 68 CS had an overheating problem while there and...

    1968 color comfirmation

Hi All, I finally got my rebult power steering pump and have painted it with the "ACCUMATCH" power steering pump color # L-17520 and am quite suprised by the color. It really looks like an Oldsmobile valve cover color, I was expecting something darker. I will attach a photo and hope the color...

    Winter in Iowa

Winter in the Portland area can be amazing. Very little equipment for snow/ice removal like lots of you folks. Took our daughter and family to the airport 12-29 for their flight home to Salt Lake with a few white flakes in the air. As we left the parking garage at 3:40 pm for our 25 mile drive...

1968 More Progress on My Lime Gold GT/CS

Russ, Wow what a wonderful job you've done. I agree with the idea to buy a finished car, but with your obvious skills and dedication to detail there will be none like it. Even though it is a HUGE project The results will be second to none. I can't wait to see the finished project. Ralph

    . Modest Dream Garage

Rob, you can save floor space used up by stairs to your loft by welding a set like mine. I also have storage behind my tool panels. Never enough storage it seems. Those tall walls make a great place for family photo's. Ralph
