    1968 Black CS Project

160* is too low if you plan on driving it in cool/cold weather. With typical summertime NC temps, it would not be that much of an issue. The lower thermostat will not make it run any cooler once fully warmed up on a warm or hot day. Were you planning to rebuild the motor? Is so, I suppose...

I just joined and got approved! It looks to be a great group and I suspect I will be spending a fair amount of time on it. Especially if more members here join.

The listing describes it as stunning. I don't think that is the right word

For Sale Did You Ever Want a '67 GTCS Convertible?

Doubt that a dealer on the east coast would have "converted" to a GTCS as stated in the ad. Virtually unknown outside of the western states in 1968.

For Sale Did You Ever Want a '67 GTCS Convertible?

Dah. My mistake. Saw the T and my head went straight to a 6 cyl.

For Sale Did You Ever Want a '67 GTCS Convertible?

Looks like it will sell for less than the asking of the other one. Started life as a six cylinder according to the VIN.

For Sale Did You Ever Want a '67 GTCS Convertible?

Did not notice the missing braces. Hopefully it has not been driven hard while they have been missing.

For Sale Did You Ever Want a '67 GTCS Convertible?

Agree about the state assigned VIN. Now that I posted the link and you can see the pictures, I don't think it is a new shell. Just a restored '67 with the GTCS parts installed.

For Sale Did You Ever Want a '67 GTCS Convertible?

Here is a 1967 Convertible with GTCS ornamentation. Looks like the only things missing are the hood locks and Mustang script on the front fenders and deck lid. Looks pretty nice and a pretty nice cloning job. Instrument cluster gauge lenses need help and it looks like it has a North Carolina...

1968 Help with 15" tire size

I want to get the Shelby 10 spokes for my GTCS. I want to get a 70 series tire but in radial. 215/70/15. Maybe 225/70/15 Car is stock height. Does anyone see a problem with either of these? The diameter would be 26.9. Thanks.
