    1968 Car won’t start

It does not even have to "boil away." If you use gas with ethanol, it evaporates very quickly especially if the bowl is vented. On my '55 chevy, the Rochester 2GC was vented full time. All the gas would evaporate from the bowl in four days.

    1968 Rocker molding removal?

Well, you can just snap off your moldings and see how it looks. Granted, the clips will still be there but it should give you a good idea. If you decide to keep it off, you will have to remove the clips, fill the holes and do some repainting. Would not be orth it to me but that is just...

    1968 Torque Thrust wheels?

Again, I agree with Neil. Relatively rare cars should be kept stock as much as possible. Just my humble opinion. Any time I see a modified Shelby, I just cringe. With wheels though, as long as you keep the styled steel wheels, it is easy to switch back. Good luck getting both houses of...

    1968 Torque Thrust wheels?

I agree with Neil - The Torque Thrust are the best non Ford wheels. So period correct. I have the Styled Steel Chrome Wheels and GT caps. They were new last summer before I owned it. But, If I change my wheels, I will go with the 15" Shelby 10-spokes and Firestone Wide Oval Style radials.

For Sale Another One in Massachusetts

This was at Lambs Farm in Libertyville. Maybe just luck of the draw last weekend.

For Sale Another One in Massachusetts

I showed my '66 coupe and my former GTCS in the Councours trailered class at MCA shows. This car is not in that class. The engine compartment, trunk and underside certainly show some wear. The rest of the car looks pretty good at least from the pictures. Meadowlark Yellow is a pretty color...

1968 Front Fender "Mustang" Script Emblem

That's interesting as they are still sideways when I open them on my PC. Maybe Apple "gets it right" when the pics are taken on an iPhone.

1968 Front Fender "Mustang" Script Emblem

Wow. Thanks for taking the time to do this. I have the rotation problem on this and other sites when I use my iPhone. I can save your pics to my PC and rotate them - no problem. I got the Scott Drake scripts and tube nuts already from NPD. The scripts came with the tube nuts so I do have a...

1968 Idiot Light Oil Pressure Sender

My J code CS has the factory tach and therefore, an idiot light for the oil pressure. It does have the 4" extension that comes out of the block that the little sender screws into. That extension, I believe, is to allow room for the much larger sending unit for cars with an oil pressure gauge...

Must be after market as I took off the splash shields and no evidence of holes

1968 Front Fender "Mustang" Script Emblem

So when my car was restored, The Mustang script Emblems were not put on for whatever reason. I am assuming that this was a choice made by the owner. I have bought the emblems and now need measurements from reference points for both the left and right sides. Could someone help me out here...

    1968 Brake Pedal Return Bumper

So now that I have completed the work under the hood and am driving my '68, I noticed that when I release the brake pedal, it "clangs" back. So I figure there must be a missing bumper. As I was putting in an NPD order anyways, I looked it up and sure enough they sell it for a whole $1.50. So it...

1968 How Did I Miss This?

Missing Front Fender Emblems So now that I got all the stuff done to my car over the winter, I thought it was high time to wax it before the first cruise-in next week. As I was waxing the first front fender, I realized that I do not have the front fender Mustang script emblem. I looked on the...

    1968 Black CS Project

Now the fun of assembly begins. I love that phase of doing a complete restoration. You can work all day and barely get your hands dirty.
