. 68 GT/CS on the block at Mecum January 2010

You think it was a convertible?? I couldn't really tell - thought it may have been a vinyl roof. The camera shot is far and fuzzy on the webcasts. Need a rewind on the webcast!! Damn! For those that didn't see it ... The car looked like it was Tahoe Turquiose (hard to tell colors sometimes...

. 68 GT/CS on the block at Mecum January 2010

I don't think it's going to be on TV actually. I noticed the Mecum site says this car is going on the block on Saturday 10:25AM. The TV coverage doesn't start until 2pm. Don't know if it's a tape delay from the morning since it doesn't say it's LIVE.

High winds shred tents at Russo-Steele car auction in Scottsdale

Another thought someone pointed out to me was that restored cars can be fixed and re-restored. But how many of those cars were unrestored, original survivors? I'm sure there will be a lot of coverage in the car magazines the next few months.

1968 How did you find your GT/CS?

It was 2005, I as always was a Mustang fan as a kid and already owned my 96 GT Convertible when a friend at work mentioned in passing his Dad was selling his California Special. I had no plans to buy anything at the time but decided to checkout the car. Saw it, drove it and fell in love with...

High winds shred tents at Russo-Steele car auction in Scottsdale

Thank for fixing the link Jon. I was wondering the same thing myself. Wondered if the tent company is liable at all or at least their insurance may cover some. Wouldn't want to be involved in that mess. I agree very depressing just imagining the hours, money, heart and soul some people...

Wow! Thanks for posting the pics! The pictures really tell the story. The damage is a lot worse than they made it sound like. I just can't believe the number of cars that were damaged!

High winds shred tents at Russo-Steele car auction in Scottsdale

Here is an interview with Drew Alcazar who runs/owns Russo and Steele http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4AWpMApuWIo Amazing if the damage is as light as he said. I read on the Barrett-Jackson facebook that they were sending food over to the workers at Russo and Steele. "Barrett-Jackson As a...
