Hi Everyone! It's that time of year again, probably a little later than usual, to start thinking about the 3rd GT/CS get together at Carlisle during the All-Ford Nationals. Carlisle has posted the 2010 Showfield Classes and I'm happy to report there will be classes for the GT/CS and HCS...

Tom, There was also that vendor the last 2 years that had a CS for sale too. Different cars each year. We had about 16 cars two years ago, about 8 68's and 8 late models. Last year we only had 2 68's (not counting Tom and Joel's in Building D) and probably about 8 late models. Don't remember...

Sound like a paint job restore is in order on a 1:18 for you Neil. :cool: I see the stripes as the biggest issue there but I thought someone on here was successful at doing it. Just don't tell Arlie you changed the original color on your 1:18 GT/CS! :icon_no:

Intersting that the use a Cadillac page and don't bother to use a page from the real product. This isn't specific to the GT/CS. It is for all 67-68 Mustangs.

Here is the other thread with pictures of the car from other sites. No mention of it being a clone on the seller's site, autotrader or Mecum. Mecum and AutoTrader list it as a coupe and not a convertible. A lot of money for a clone I think...

You know I had to go searching right? :o) Couldn't rest until I put on my google cape and went searching and I found it and you are correct Arlie - it's a fake and a convertible to "boot" (pardon the pun!) :grin: Here is an ad for it on AutoTraderClassics.com Even in this listing they say...
