I think it goes nuts, bezel, nuts. The first set of nuts adjust the position of the bezel.

Neil Hoppe, a great friend and mentor to many of us, passed last night. He had been battling a number of health issues and he kept fighting until the end. At this point that's all I know. Will update this thread when I find out about funeral arrangements.

Where are the block drains? Are they the treaded plugs at the rear of the engine on the driver side, and front of the engine on the passenger side?

Interesting. It looks like Ford made a few changes to the block in ‘66.

There isn’t a plug in it. Just a threaded boss.

Jon, How does the reproduction hood fit?

It may be corrosion or wear on the contacts. Can you remove the bulbs and clean the nubs on the pigtails? Are they worn down?
