I had one of those Pinto Squire wagons back in the day. It was blue and had the 2800cc engine in it. Went pretty good. Now I'd take an AMX any day of the week. Always liked them! :grin:

I had a NPD concours level solenoid fail on the second start. They sent me a replacement and it has been fine for over two years now. You just never know these days with most of the repros being made in China.

Maybe this car deserves a nickname relating to it's "electric" past. :grin:

Looking at the Scott Drake and NPD catalogs, I can see that the door handle and window crank holes are already made in the door panels. I cannot however, see the holes for the arm rest pads. Are those holes already made in the TMI and Distinctive Industries panels? Thanks again.

The door panels on my car aren't the best. The silver foil is peeling, but otherwise they don't look too bad. If I decide to replace them, whose are the best? TMI? I put a pair on a car years ago, and they were terrible. The panels were really flimsy and did not seem anywhere near the...

I see in the ad description that he is listing the colour as white. Guess it has been through a colour-change paint job.

Diamond Blue is a deceptive colour, especially in photos. But it could be white...:grin:

I wonder how correct the engine bay assembly line marks are. I notice it has the dreaded "caution fan" sticker on the shroud. :wink:

DSO of San Jose and a heater delete car. Makes me think it was in Hawaii for some of it's life. :cool:

My GT/CS had one that appeared to be an original. My shop highly suggested having it rebuilt instead of gambling on the repros. It cost a little more, but appears to have been worth it.
