1968 Help with tire size !!

Sheryl, When you are ready to have the CS aligned (and any other work you need done on it), see Mark and Tim at MT Auto in town 925-294-9699. They are friends of ours and really know their stuff (especially old Fords)...and they are honest guys. They just got my '68CS running better than it...

1968 Help with tire size !!

Sheryl, Just FYI- When I replaced all the suspension stuff on my CS a few years ago (with the Mustangs Plus purchased Grab-A-Track components) the stock coil springs that came out were thinner, with more coils than the new (thicker/less coils) springs. So, if you are replacing like-for-like...

1968 What has been the hardest part to get for your GT/CS ?

Thanks Neil, I've avoided the dye process I think because I'm not convinced how it will turn out. Guessing you and others have done this on knobs??? Would you start with a clear knob?? And does the dye soak in? Or does it look more like paint? Any tips on what process works best? -Jeff

1968 What has been the hardest part to get for your GT/CS ?

One elusive part- I still cannot find aqua/turquoise window crank knobs. I have three that are aqua and one that is darker blue. -Jeff

    1968 Congratulations Mike Jewell – SAAC 35

Hi Amy, Yep that was us in the '07 Black CS coupe. Sorry we didn't get a chance to meet everyone. We tried to bring the '68, but the battery died when trying to start it after getting fuel in the morning down the street. Got a jump and got back home. Drove the newer one instead up to Sonoma...

I happened to get a DMV worker who was knowledgeable and seemed to understand the YOM program. I brought the plates with the 1968...
