1968 Take a look at my Lucas Fog Light situation

Good point. I could use split rivets. I have some of those.

1968 Take a look at my Lucas Fog Light situation

Obviously the grille and surround are non-GT/CS replacement parts. From what I have seen, the correct grille has a large hole for each fog light and a vertical bracket lined up on that hole. That's all missing, along with the holes in the surround. Should I get a 1967 grille, cut the holes, and...

1968 Take a look at my Lucas Fog Light situation

I'm working out the best way to get the Lucas fog lights correctly fitted. Turns out I actually have the mounting pedestals, but one of them is filled with epoxy. The mounting bolts look broken and I don't see an obvious way to swap in fresh ones. Reassembling the wiring is definitely something...

    6-Cylinder '68 Mustang

Congratulations on the new car, it's a real beauty. If you need any advice on transport I recently went shopping for a carrier and would be happy to share the experience.

For Sale 1968 GT/CS in Denver CL

It looks familiar to me, I think this is the one that was won in a church raffle? It has been for sale before. The car appears incredibly nice for the money asked. Paint job looks fantastic.

    6-Cylinder '68 Mustang

If you buy it, will there be any fun stuff left for you to do? I think it's cleaner and nicer than my "new" car :)

For Sale 1968 GT/CS project on E bay

Good points Rob. The Marti says it's a GT (I didn't realize that) and it has those sweet headrests. I think it would be a great candidate for a minimal / practical approach. If you could get a decent motor in it for under $2000, then just do the minimum required to make it usable. Buff the...

For Sale 1968 GT/CS project on E bay

What would you ballpark the cost of fitting a new engine at? Almost wonder if it would be worth finding a cheap old engine and rebuilding that and dropping it in.

Is that your car? It looks like a Gulfstream Blue.

    1968 Cali in the snow

Great video. What a treat to see the car driving and doing some snowdrifting. Looks great with the 10-spokes and the hood "whiteouts". Would love some details on the tire size & suspension setup. Maybe a video dedicated to just the GT/CS for the springtime? Very nice work & cool car.

For Sale Black GT/CS in Kansas City

Shop owner: "I said Gulfstream Aqua paint with black stripes! You mixed it up!" Paint guy: "Oh. Sorry."

    . Triple "B's" Garage

Great to see the Acapulco 390 photos. Those 225 tires look good. They are ok in the front at the stock suspension height, or is it a little elevated in the front to clear?

Rob is a great guy to deal with. Wish my car was a little closer to his shop!

The choke thermostat and vacuum secondary assembly look a little different in size and shape and details... could be the photo?

For Sale Black GT/CS in Kansas City

If that's the original spec, it's got to be almost a one of one car, right? There are so few black Mustangs, and then you mix in the blue interior and vinyl top.

It sounds crazy, but sometimes a higher price makes something more desirable to some folks?

1968 Styled Steel GT Wheels, how to clean & prep?

Parts are starting to arrive and the wheels are here. The chrome parts look fine for my driver purposes, but I'm wondering if I should clean the insides/back where there is some gunk and corrosion. Just leave them? Or media blast the insides and paint with some kind of rustproofing? They are...

1968 Cobra Jet 1968 High Country Special in Denver?

Thanks for putting that one to rest. The funny thing is, I am sure I had seen that ad before but did not make the connection.

1968 Cobra Jet 1968 High Country Special in Denver?

I wish I had more definitive info, it's all secondhand. But I was told the car was an R code. Now I'm second guessing myself that it might have been a California Special and not a High Country. I was hoping someone here might have seen it before the ad was pulled.
