    I agree with Rob.here. Another great carb is the Holley 465cfm originally found on the Tigers. The originals can be pricey but it is still available as a model 1848 at any speed shop.

    The water passage configuration is the same. Possibly you put one gasket on upside down. This is a common mistake as there is a front and back. A reverse install will cover the water jackets on one end.

    The Automatic IMCO cars retained their 4300 after recall. But they were the only ones. It is documented in the Registry and I had to show John from Pony Carbs(RIP) a document to convince him. The carbs are known for a stumbled off idle but many of them are out there running.
