    I'm not aware of any possible "adjusting". If it's not returning check for binding......and that the spring is still attached to the flapper.

    Check for binding of the flapper. You need to let it cool off sufficiently as well....it doesn't happen instantly! The fact that it opens means it's more than likely working properly since it has overcome spring pressure to open in the first place.

    68 C code GT/CS front spring paint marks

    The original coils from my S code CSGT with the GT equipment group had yellow and green markings. They are 9 1/2 coils and 16 1/4" high with a .640" cross section . The sway bar also has yellow and green markings and is 15/16ths". I can post a pic later if wanted.

    Iv'e repainted a couple. If needed, I removed the last of the paint first w zip-strip... then I'd get a tiny brush and apply the correct paint very carefully. I think the black is a semi gloss...... the trick is applying it evenly so as not to have a mottled look. It usually took several coats...

    What color stripes should I have?

    My car is gulfstream aqua with two tone aqua interior. I am trying to figure out what color stripes as well..... Right now I'm leaning towards white, red or gold.... Is gold definitely wrong?? I'm thinking it might look cool but I don't want to do it if they NEVER came that way.....

    GT package value? I didn't see a value for the GT package or for competition suspension. I have an "S" code 4-speed CSGT w the GT package and 8,000rpm tach. Would that just be part of the 60% you get for the 390 4v engine?
