Ignition Switch - Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable from the battery.
2. Insert the ignition key in the switch.
3. Turn the switch to the accessory position (turn the key counterclockwise).
4. Insert a wire pin (paperclip works well) in the hole in the ignition switch.
5. Slightly depress the pin (little button under hole in that position) while turning the key counterclockwise past the accessory position.
6. This will release the the lock cylinder from the switch assembly.
7. Pull out the lock cylinder with the key.

You may make it without friends; but with them, you can do anything.
